Well its been a strange couple of days for me and I just haven't had the time or the energy to really get down to putting stuff up here or to write anything. So thought I'd get off my backside and get something up before I leave for work this morning (which happens to be another change to my schedule, bleh) so you guys have got something to enjoy!

New Life For A Changed World

This was one of those captions where the image came before the story. I saw this one in one of my many image folders and thought it would be great to work with. I knew I wanted it to be about a couple where roles had been reversed somewhat, but as I started to write out the plot, I felt it needed some more fleshing out than just my usual one time only universe I spend building for most of my captions. So I took the universe I built in 'Adapting To The New World' since it was one I had wanted to build more on and voila! This was the result! Hope you lovely lot enjoy it!

Now I need coffee because my brain is yet to get going for the day and keeps trying to half create an idea but just can't seem to finish it or let it go. Urgh mornings....

I feel really humbled that you guys and girls have decided to spend so much of your time to see what I create here for you, and I hope you've enjoyed all the caps I've brought you since I started here just over five years ago now. Wow does time fly!!
I hope you don't mind if I used you in one of the panels, just a bit of fun, and if your name wasn't chosen, don't worry, I still love you too, but if I did that for all my 240 followers or all the commentors, well this would be a stupidly long caption series!!!

Hey guys, girls and in betweens! Sorry I haven't uploaded anything for the last two days. I do have caps ready to go, but I noticed the view counter and wanted to make something a bit special. Downside is I just haven't got round to completing it yet!! Hopefully soon though.

The Morning After

Proof of why I should read through all my caps before I upload them, I noticed the errors in the second to last paragraph just now and I deleted the work file for this already. Damn. Actually I would say this has been a problem since upgrading to the new version of Comic Life after the much lamented laptop wash of last year. It starts autocorrecting words while I'm writing them, and if I miss them it still thinks they are correct even when they totally mess up my sentencing. Why the hell would I need autocorrect in the first place when I have a spellcheck? In fact, why does autocorrect exist in the first place? Whoever designed that feature will be put up against the wall when the revolution comes!!

Anyways, this cap was inspired when the government decided they were going to be cutting the grant part of student financing and make it another loan, just before they decide to give themselves a big pay rise. Bastards. Utter bastards. These are the same pricks who have done absolutely nothing to solve the log jam of traffic in my region thanks to the French and the illegal immigrants across the channel. The only solution they have come up with is to close the motorway in both directions now! Yeah thanks for that!!

Well enough ranting from me! Hope everyone is having a good saturday so far :) Free hugs from me if you are, extra rations if things aren't going so well!!
